Ribbons of Sand
Oil on canvas
40cm x 50cm, 16”x20”
I love mornings on the ocean. When the sun shines and warms the cool sand, it beckons me to walk the shoreline and see what treasures the ocean has offered up on the shore.
I adore the act of beachcombing and yet, I was so busy looking for shells and sea glass that I almost missed this most amazing pattern of sand laid down by the retreating tide. Evidently, not all beachcombing treasure can fit in one’s pocket.
