The Kimberley region can seem inhospitable, with stretches of dry land as far as the eye can
see. If you know where to look, however, the landscape opens up and offers a multitude of
waterfalls, creeks, streams and springs. The dichotomy between wet and dry, oasis and

desert, is one of my favourite things about the landscape, the colours contrasting as starkly
as the elements.
